Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD)

The Mental Health Center of Denver's Child and Family Services is the leading area resource for comprehensive treatment for children ages 0-18 years old, including those with serious emotional disturbances (SED). MHCD offers a full range of community-based mental health services and provides effective, flexible and individualized treatment solutions that support the needs of growing children and their families. Their Community Based Services include:

Family, Infant & Toddler (FIT) Program
The FIT program offers therapeutic services for children from birth to age 3 who have developmental disabilities or are identified as being at-risk for developmental delays. Educational and support services are provided to the families at various community sites. FIT services include:

  • Home visits by Laradon's professional staff Bilingual services for Spanish-speaking families Transportation to group activities Resources and support for the families served
  • Speech and occupational therapy
  • Parent-Child play and learn groups
