Office of Professional Development Educational Stipend
The Educational Stipend Program, funded by the Colorado Office of Professional Development (COPD), will provide stipends to people working in licensed early childhood centers, family child care homes and school-age programs, as they successfully complete college courses.  Recipients will receive a cash award once they have completed a qualifying course.

Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation Scholarships
The Denver Early Childhood Council has received funding from the Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation to offer scholarships. At this time the application period is closed. T.E.A.C.H. scholarships
T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) Early Childhood® provides college scholarships to child care professionals to help them earn early childhood credentials and degrees. This program works to increase the education levels of Colorado's child care professionals, reduce turnover in the child care field and increase child care wages. Boettcher Foundation Early Learning Capital Fund--Facility Improvement Grant

The Boettcher Foundation Early Learning Capital Fund provides grants up to $5,000 for facility improvements. Applicants must be nonprofit corporations with a current Qualistar Rating and demonstrate a 1:1 match with other funds. The improvement project must benefit children ages 0-5 years old. The funds must be used for physical improvements to the facility and may not be used for general operating purposes.

Boettcher Foundation Early Learning Capital Grant

The Boettcher Foundation Early Learning Capital Fund will provide grants up to $25,000 for major expansions or renovations to your facility. Applicants must be nonprofit corporations, demonstrate a 4:1 match with other funds and complete the attached application. The project must benefit children ages 0-5 years old. The funds must be used for physical improvements to the facility and may not be used for general operating purposes. Preschool providers who participate in a quality-rating system through D enver P reschool P rogram (DPP) can receive quality-improvement grants of up to $3,000 per classroom that can be used for materials and supplies, professional development and coaching. Through its partnership with Qualistar Early Learning, DPP offers a pathway for providers to improve the quality of their programs, thus expanding capacity and driving demand for more high-quality preschool classrooms. To enroll in DPP, you need to be licensed by the state and agree to participate in a three-part quality improvement system that includes: Introduction to Quality orientation; quality rating; and the development of a quality improvement plan .
