Denver Preschool Program The Denver Preschool Program (DPP) is the result of a voter approved initiative to provide tuition credits for parents and quality improvement grants to preschools. DPP is open and voluntary for all Denver children the year before they are eligible for kindergarten. A Denver family may use the tuition credit with any preschool provider who is licensed by the state and has a contract with the Denver Preschool Program, regardless of where that provider is located. Parents can download information and application forms from the website.
The Denver County Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is a federally-funded program that helps eligible low-income families pay for childcare. Parents can obtain eligibility and application information on the website.
The Head Start program partners with several agencies to provide services for children ages 3-5 in the Denver Metropolitan area. Please contact specific locations for availability and cost of care. Programs are based on income eligibility. Head Start Locator by address or zip code: http://eclkc.ohs.acf.hhs.gov/hslc/HeadStartOffices
