DESCRIPTION:This is a 3-part Denver Preschool Program (DPP) Teacher Featured Series: \nPart 1 – October 6 from 6:00PM-8:00PM\nPart 2 – October 13 from 6:00PM-8:00PM\nPart 3 – October 20 from 6:00PM-8:00PM \nThis beginner-friendly introduction to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) offers early childhood educators practical tools and thoughtful reflection to support every child’s unique way of being\, learning\, and belonging\, especially children with disabilities. Across three 2-hour sessions\, participants will explore how to create calming\, inclusive classroom environments (“Setting the Stage”)\, offer respectful and low-stigma supports in daily routines (“Little Changes\, Big Impact”)\, and practice inclusion as a mindset rooted in empathy and flexibility (“Together is the Goal”). With takeaways like sensory-aware design\, visual communication supports\, and culturally responsive touches\, this training empowers educators to create spaces where all children feel seen\, supported\, and truly included. \nRegister here
