SUMMARY:FFN Community of Practice: Learn\, Share & Lead [ENGLISH\, SPANISH\, ARABIC & DARI]
DESCRIPTION:This sessionwill be interpreted in English\, Spanish\, Dari\, and Arabic as needed \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe FFN Community of Practice is a new opportunity for FFN caregivers to learn directly from one another in a supportive\, peer-led environment. FFN caregivers will have opportunities to share their knowledge\, demonstrate practical strategies\, and talk about real-life experiences that can support others in their caregiving work. Caregivers can participate by presenting\, sharing\, asking questions\, observing\, or simply learning alongside their peers. FFN facilitators will also have opportunities to build their leadership and training skills with support from a career coach and professional development resources. At its core\, the Community of Practice is about FFN caregivers learning from other FFN caregivers—building confidence\, strengthening skills\, developing leadership\, and creating meaningful connections within the FFN community. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNot sure if you are an FFN? \n\n\n\nAn FFN (Family\, Friend\, and Neighbor) provider is someone who provides informal\, license-exempt child care on a regular basis in an in-home setting for a child they already have a relationship with\, such as a grandmother caring for her grandchildren\, an aunt caring for a niece or nephew\, a family friend\, or a trusted neighbor\, etc. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here \n

SUMMARY:FFN Training - Using Materials to Intentionally Support Daily Creativity With Young Children
DESCRIPTION:This sessionwill be conducted in English\, with Spanish\, Dari\, and Arabic interpretation available. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis training will set you up for success in fostering an environment that supports independant creativity with young children. We explore what materials to include and how to design the physical space for adding a creation area to your home. You will learn the meaning of process vs product art and how to set up simple\, yet deeply creative\, art activities. You will come away with the confidence that you can plan process art activites that build on each other in a way that leads to children being self-sufficient in their use of a “Creation Station”. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNot sure if you are an FFN? \n\n\n\nAn FFN (Family\, Friend\, and Neighbor) provider is someone who provides informal\, license-exempt child care on a regular basis in an in-home setting for a child they already have a relationship with\, such as a grandmother caring for her grandchildren\, an aunt caring for a niece or nephew\, a family friend\, or a trusted neighbor\, etc. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here \n
