DESCRIPTION:We will review the early childhood programs at Rocky Mountain Human Services including Early Intervention\, Denver Early Steps\, and Developmental Monitoring. We will discuss how screenings are used at RMHS to identify developmental delays and social emotional-challenges and how classrooms can partner with us to sign up for screening events. Teachers will have the chance to learn more about push-in\, pull-out and hybrid methods of intervention and their benefits and drawbacks will be explored. Finally\, we will consider the importance of teacher-provider collaboration for carry-over of learned skills into the classroom and beyond.
