Beyond Stereotypes: Understanding Gender Diversity

Gender identity is formed during the early years. Educators have the honor and access to support children and their families by providing safe spaces for children to discover who they are and for all families to be included. During the presentation, basic gender diversity concepts will be introduced. Interactive experiences, question/answer, and reflection will be utilized. We will share ideas regarding how to integrate this information in the classroom and how to engage and support all children and families and all genders.
