October 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Are you ready to explore what diversity, equity, and inclusion mean for you and your community/classroom? The Council invites you to join as an expert in your experience, to provide us with insights into the micro-communities of your classrooms or clients. Join us as we venture into the world of epigenetics, selection and unconscious bias, intersectionality and how early childhood as a field is impacted. We will practice deep listening skills and learn about the perspectives of others as we learn more about ourselves. This training will be a 8-hour training series where we will join together to lay the groundwork for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive classroom/community.
The Council will be providing this training in English and Spanish. The format will be parallel, focusing on the groups’ experience.
Sessions are on the following Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Oct 18, Oct 25, Nov 1, and Nov 8.
