ABCD

ABCD stands for Assuring Better Health & Child Development. ABCD educates, equips and partners with primary care, early childhood and community agencies who serve children to make it easier for Colorado families to access developmental screenings, referrals and support.  

Rocky Mountain Human Services (RMHS)

Rocky Mountain Human Services provides early intervention at no cost to parents or families for infants and toddlers who have developmental delays as well as resources for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  

Families First

Families First provides a unique combination of prevention and intervention services, each designed to help parents put their children's needs first. We respond to the needs of families with an approach that is welcoming and collaborative, that builds on existing strengths in parents and their children, and that acknowledges and respects cultural and individual differences.  

BUILD Initiative

The BUILD Initiative works with early childhood leaders within states and nationally to better prepare young children to thrive and succeed. We support state leaders from both the private and public sectors as they work to set policy, offer services and advocate for children from birth to age five.  

Child Find

Every school district or Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) have professionals who are trained to evaluate children in a variety of areas, including cognitive functioning, physical functioning, hearing and vision, speech and language and social and emotional development. This service is referred to as Child Find. Evaluations are conducted by the Child Find team at no cost to parents.
