For years, Denver’s Early Childhood Council has offered trainings to the community, including health and safety courses like CPR and First Aid, Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Council has been unable to offer early care and learning professionals these essential and important health and safety trainings over the past year, until now!

The Council is pleased to introduce a new Health and Safety scholarship! Anyone who lives or works in Denver and wishes to renew their certification in CPR and First Aid, Standard Precautions, and/or Medication Administration may qualify for the Health and Safety scholarship.

We are busy working on the summer 2021 Health and Safety trainings schedule. Once the training dates for the courses are confirmed, we will let scholarship recipients know and each recipient will be able to select their desired dates. Please note: scholarship funds are limited and applying is not a guarantee of receiving a scholarship.

To apply for this scholarship, please fill out this form.

Applications are due by Monday, May 24 at 5:00 PM. Recipients will be selected and notified on May 28.

Trainings must be complete by the end of August 2021.

This scholarship is generously sponsored by Denver Preschool Program and Buell Foundation.
