We’re Still Thankful!
Thanksgiving Day has come and gone, but we’re still thankful! Every day we have the opportunity to work with amazing colleagues and community members like you with the common goal of creating the best outcomes for children!
Our goal is to see that every young child across Denver has access to high quality early learning and family support services to help them enter school ready to succeed. We do this by helping caregivers, teachers, health/mental health care practitioners, home visitors and others provide the highest quality services possible.
How we’re doing it:
- providing information, professional development opportunities, and quality funding and incentives to early care and learning professionals and informal caregivers.
- connecting the various aspects of the early childhood system to make sure policies and practices meet the growth and developmental needs of young children.
- working with early care and learning professionals serving young children and their families to improve the quality of their services and to strengthen the early childhood profession; and
- acting as a leading voice in advocating for policy and practice changes to align and strengthen a comprehensive early childhood system.
We’re especially grateful for all of the accomplishments and progress we’ve made over the past year. The fabric of those accomplishments is made up of strong partnerships, built over time, that help assure a thriving early learning community here in Denver. With these things in mind, we are pleased to share our 2018 Community Report, highlighting some important milestones from the past year!
An important date is coming up, and we’d like to ask for your participation on a financial level, no matter how modest or generous your charitable giving budget allows! Your investment can help with things like books, learning materials, technology or furniture for a classroom, one-on-one classroom coaching, or sending a teacher to formal training to embark on a career in early childhood education.
