This is a 3-part series:
- Part 1: Monday June 1 from 6:00PM-8:00PM
- Part 2: Wednesday June 3 from 6:00PM-8:00PM
- Part 3: Monday June 8 from 6:00PM-8:00PM
This interactive three-session training equips early care and learning professionals with the foundational knowledge, best practices, and hands-on strategies to intentionally support young children’s social and emotional intelligence. Participants will explore how social and emotional skills—such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and relationship-building—develop in early childhood and why these capacities are essential for lifelong learning, well-being, and healthy relationships. Each session combines brief teaching with active learning, including demonstrations, child-centered activities, case examples, and opportunities to practice strategies that can be used immediately in classrooms and early learning settings.
