ecConnect has changed TO QIM!

The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) has launched a new Colorado Shines Quality Improvement Funding Module. The Colorado Shines Quality Improvement Module (QIM, QI Module) launched on June 20, 2024. It will be used to manage the Colorado Shines quality improvement grant applications, along with the Minor Improvement and Emerging and Expanding Grant applications.

Child care providers: you will be able to apply for Quality Improvement funding and submit spending records from your Colorado Shines Portal. Early Childhood Councils will track coaching hours and manage awarded funds for providers using the new QI Module. The QIM, or QI Module, is on CDEC’s Provider Hub.

IMPORTANT: it is recommended that you apply as soon as possible, as funding is limited and applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis statewide.
