ENGLISH – Foundations of Early Math: Play-Based Teaching for Preschool

Preschools ages 3-5 spend as little as 5% of the day on math versus 45% on literacy. This session helps preschool teachers turn everyday routines like snack, blocks, transitions, and play into meaningful math moments. Participants will learn simple, hands-on strategies, questions, vocabulary, and planning tools they can use right away—without worksheets, scripted drills, or extra time.

Participants who attend and actively participate in this training will receive a certificate of completion for 2 credit hours aligned with the Teaching Practice competency in Colorado Shines.
