Ché Walker
Ché has worked in the early childhood field since 1996 in both public and private programs. Her most recent position was as a Kindergarten Lead Teacher at Montview Community Preschool and Kindergarten. She obtained her teacher licensure training at Metropolitan State University and holds a BFA from University of Colorado Denver.
Ché is a voracious reader and lifelong learner. She enjoys interior design blogs and working in her yard. She has four cats and usually a litter of foster kittens! Her single son, the love of her life, attends the University of Colorado Denver.
Her dream is to live on the ocean and design early childhood classrooms. She is passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and is happy to be a part of this work with Denver’s Early Childhood Council.
