Anisa is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive spaces where children, families, and caregivers can thrive. She loves building connections across diverse communities, celebrating cultures, and empowering caregivers. With a Ph.D. in ESL Curriculum and Instruction and an M.A. in Inclusive Early Childhood Special Education, her career spans roles such as FFN (Family, Friend & Neighbor) and home visiting program supervisor, community college instructor, bilingual CDA specialist and ECE consultant. These experiences have shaped her focus on culturally responsive practices, emphasizing trust-building, effective communication, and high-quality care.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Anisa enjoys crafting and DIY projects, delighting in the joy of making unique, personalized items. Crafting is a favorite way for Anisa to relax and enjoy her time, allowing her to unwind while expressing her passion through unique, personalized creations.
