Lisa Jameson-Shea

As Director of Development, Lisa Jameson-Shea is responsible for the day-to-day fundraising operations and financial sustainability of Denver’s Early Childhood Council. Her work is heavily focused on content marketing and account-based marketing, with KPIs that prioritize income strategies to create long-term funding streams and open new, diversified funding sources, including planned giving.  

As a mother of two, she brings a unique combination of business expertise and real-world perspective to her role. She is widely regarded locally for her expertise in fundraising, organizational management, and strategic development approaches. Before joining the Council, Lisa served at the Human Trafficking Institute of Washington, DC as the International and Domestic Director of Grants, combating trafficking at its source by empowering justice systems with the complex resources necessary to stop traffickers and providing developing nations with the tools and training required to stop traffickers effectively. She led all fundraising efforts, increasing revenue by 1,634%. She served as the Grants Director at A Precious Child in Broomfield, CO, where she supported 50,000 underserved children and their caregivers annually across the Denver Metro area through 300 agencies and charities, resulting in a 633% increase in grant revenue. She served as the CEO of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver, overseeing 400 local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Other organizations include LiveWell, Mental Health Center of Denver, Northern Colorado Latino Foundation, Fish Food Bank of Broomfield, Family Promise of Greater Denver, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She began her career at Girl Scouts of America in Lafayette, Indiana, and Dallas, Texas. Lisa holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler.  In her downtime, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, going on adventures with friends, and collecting fun earrings.
